BodyBuilding Career Back In Full Swing

I want to start my first blog off by by giving thanks to God for for all my blessings and giving me the ability to compete and excel in this sport.I also want to thank my family, friends, and fans for all of your support. Now lets talk bodybuilding! As you all know ,I took a sabbatical in 2010 from competing.Had to focus on some other things that are very dear to me and I knew I wouldn't have the rite mind set and focus I needed to compete at a high level. The 2011 season is here and my my mind set, focus, and energy is at a all time high! I am hungry for my first pro win in which I intend on getting this year! I started my training for the upcoming season in January 1st. I must say it was a little ruff the first two weeks.Even though I continued to train in 2010, I wasn't doing body building training.I kept size and stayed lean but it took a couple weeks to get back in the swing of things with bodybuilding training.I got back with my contest coach,Chad Shaives and he got me going on phase one of my off season diet.My strength came back which allowed my body to start it's first growth period.I must say I made some great gains in six weeks.I also started making multiple visits to my chiropractor weekly and getting a massage once a week from my massage therapist. These are two components that are vital to my training. It's April and I am in phase two of my offseason training.Chad and I are doing something different this year by semi staring my contest prep sixteen weeks out. I am still in the process of puting on size but I am doing cardio three days a week.I normaly don't start any type of cardio untill 12 weeks out. I think this is a good move.We will see! I am making changes weekly and I am definetly on pace to bringing a package to the stage that will turn heads and open eyes wide! I hope people don't think I am being cocky because that is definitely not my style.I am just confident in what I am capable of doing.I am a very humble person and I respect all my bodybuilding colleagues. We all work hard at what we do and we all earned our pro status. The competitive nature that I have drives me to be the best I can be and I am looking forward to doing battle with all the 202's this year! I don't want to blog and not mention my dear friend Chulsey Graham who passed this year.We were very close and I miss him.He was well known in this sport.I know he is rooting for me to do well this year.I'm going to sign off on this blog.I will post another blog soon. Thanks again to all my fans! You all are the best!
