Hard At Work
I am back again for another blog post.Yes it has been a while since I blogged last and I apologize for being so slack but I will start blogging more often.I hope everyone is doing well.Just to give a few updates about what I have been up to.I have been hard at work with my training trying to make some changes from that disaster show I did in September! I still have night mares about that show! The worst I have ever looked on stage! I learned from my mistakes and made the proper changes to make sure that it won't happen again. One of the main things I did was changed my diet. That has made big difference.I went back to high volume training that has added lil more detail but still maintaining my size.I am on track for my next show and I banking on these changes pay off . I will keep you all posted.Besides working and training,I have been busy with Lil Rok! He is truly a blessing and very entertaining. Now he loves football.SMH!Oh, one last thing,I accidentally hit a key that changed the font type when I was typing.Well I peck and not type.LOL.I don't know how to change it so I have two font types in this post. Blessings to you all! Train hard and stay focused!

Hard At Work
It's been a while since I last blogged and I want to apologize for being slack on my blogging! I have been hard at work with my contest prep which is going well.My contest coach mapped out a good game plan and my training has been awesome! We got a late jump with the prep because of mis communication with my contest dates. But I made up for that week and things are going well.I am very excited about getting back on stage from taking a year!It is going to be awesome!I cant wait to get on stage and get my status as a great bodybuilder back! Taking a year off takes you out of peoples minds and they forget about you! Well I plan to make a big splash when my feet hit the stage! One thing I haven't done is look at magazines and stayed off the Internet! At times they can be a great motivational tool! You want to be in the magazines, have the photo shoots, and the front cover just like the ones you see and it can fuel you to work harder and stay focused.I know it does it for me!Just like N.Y. Jets starting linebacker Bart Scott said after a game last year "Can't Wait"! I often ask myself , why do I have such a passion for this sport when this has to be the most demanding sport! Everybody can't do this sport! It's definitely not for everybody. It takes a special, dedicated, strong minded, and strong willed person! It takes someone who don't care what they have to do to get into contest shape! The time, sacrifice, and effort is crazy but you love the sport so much it doesn't matter! Bodybuilding is a year round sport with mini breaks from time to time! You always want perfection and you will work your butt off to try and reach it!Bodybuilding changes you.If you were a shy person before you got into the sport, then I'm sure that your not so shy now!I know I was! I'm not so shy now! Bodybuilding is a small but big community.Every fan of the sport are awesome! This sport is good and I am glad I got into it.It may not be pro football, baseball, basketball,or hockey but it is a sport and I am proud to be a pro athlete! I may not be a pro football player but I am a pro bodybuilder!Bodybuilders train just as hard as other athletes if not harder ! Gotta love the sport! I have some more thoughts bout this same subject that I will share in my next blog.I will also reveal some updates on my contest prep! Please visit my website .www.charlesdixonpro.com .Check out the store and get your "TeamRoksolid" T shirts! Thanks to all my fans and thank you for your support.Until next time ,take care and God Blees everyone.

BodyBuilding Career Back In Full Swing
I want to start my first blog off by by giving thanks to God for for all my blessings and giving me the ability to compete and excel in this sport.I also want to thank my family, friends, and fans for all of your support. Now lets talk bodybuilding! As you all know ,I took a sabbatical in 2010 from competing.Had to focus on some other things that are very dear to me and I knew I wouldn't have the rite mind set and focus I needed to compete at a high level. The 2011 season is here and my my mind set, focus, and energy is at a all time high! I am hungry for my first pro win in which I intend on getting this year! I started my training for the upcoming season in January 1st. I must say it was a little ruff the first two weeks.Even though I continued to train in 2010, I wasn't doing body building training.I kept size and stayed lean but it took a couple weeks to get back in the swing of things with bodybuilding training.I got back with my contest coach,Chad Shaives and he got me going on phase one of my off season diet.My strength came back which allowed my body to start it's first growth period.I must say I made some great gains in six weeks.I also started making multiple visits to my chiropractor weekly and getting a massage once a week from my massage therapist. These are two components that are vital to my training. It's April and I am in phase two of my offseason training.Chad and I are doing something different this year by semi staring my contest prep sixteen weeks out. I am still in the process of puting on size but I am doing cardio three days a week.I normaly don't start any type of cardio untill 12 weeks out. I think this is a good move.We will see! I am making changes weekly and I am definetly on pace to bringing a package to the stage that will turn heads and open eyes wide! I hope people don't think I am being cocky because that is definitely not my style.I am just confident in what I am capable of doing.I am a very humble person and I respect all my bodybuilding colleagues. We all work hard at what we do and we all earned our pro status. The competitive nature that I have drives me to be the best I can be and I am looking forward to doing battle with all the 202's this year! I don't want to blog and not mention my dear friend Chulsey Graham who passed this year.We were very close and I miss him.He was well known in this sport.I know he is rooting for me to do well this year.I'm going to sign off on this blog.I will post another blog soon. Thanks again to all my fans! You all are the best!
